Mia stomped around the streets of La Push. She was so angry. Her dad and cousin James had made her promise to never go into Forks again. That was her hang out spot, La Push was just so average to her.
Suddenly she decided to find her cousins. She skipped over to the forest edge and walked along it. Her eyes scanned the dense forest, looking for any signs of werewolves.
She saw something moving beyond the trees and she instantly froze. "James?" She questioned as she took a few steps into the cover of trees.

Emily walked through the forest, heading for town, utterly bored. She decided to see how fast she could run, and what she could run up against. Even though Emily was no werewolf, she figured she might have some sort of... speed gene, so she began. After a minute or two, she decided her running was nothing special.
She slowed down and came to a stop, looking around. Spotting a rabbit, some instinct in her kicked in and she began to chase the animal. She slid around trees, and on th leaves that covered the forst floor, but kept up a decent pace.
Suddenly, Emily could hear someone, and she froze, ducking behind a tree. She wasn't really scared, it was just a little... weird for someone to catch her like this. As the bunny scampered awya, she peered around the bark covered trunk and saw a girl standing there, probably around her age, who had black hair. She resembled someone from a photgraph that her fater had shown her so many years ago. "No..." she answered, stepping out from behind it.

Mia jumped and screamed when she heard a voice that was not her cousin's answer back. She watched as girl, around the same age as her, stepped out from behind a tree. "What are you doing in the forest?" she questioned then mentally slapped herself. SHE was in the forest also. "Haven't you heard about bears or whatever running around here? Bears are dangerous."
"Uh." Randomly Mia grabbed the girl's hand and started dragging her out of the forest. "It's not safe." She laughed internally. Now who's sounding like dad? Mia really was starting to sound like her father, Paul.

Emily let out a soft giggle as she told her about the bears. Sighing internally, she knew the girl was talking about Werewolves. They were the only thing big enough to be mistaken as them, and Emily doubted there were actually bears here. She wanted to say something, but decided it was better not to, since the girl probably didn't know.
Emily, rolling her eyes softly, but allowing herself to be dragged, replied, "Is anything safe lately?" She knew the answer, she just wanted to know what this girl would answer.
"And anyways, why are you in the forest?" she asked, suddenly curious. The girl was yelling at her for being in the forest, and how it wasn't safe, when she was risking herself.

"La Push is safe, to some extent." she answered but continued dragging the girl. "Forks is safe too." She murmured angrily to herself. After fully pulling the girl out of the forest they were now standing in front of a furniture store.
"Oh," she was caught off guard by the question. "I was looking for my cousins. They, uh, sometimes hang out in the forest." Mia admitted sheepishly. She wondered if the girl knew about werewolves like she did.
Mia opened her mouth to ask but then decided that if the girl didn't know she didn't want to get in trouble for telling the secret. "Let's go get some furniture." She announced as a cover up. Then with a nervous laugh she entered the store.

Emily eyed the girl oddly as she walked into the store, but followed, her curiosity growing. Tugging on the hem of her sweatshirt, she ignored the cashier's look at them, and walked up next to the girl. "Are you're cousins.... big?" She asked, hoping the question wouldn't seem too weird.
She waited for an answer, wondering if the girl knew. If her cousins were big, then they probably were wolves, but they could just be normal humans. Shrugging to herself, she looked the girl up and down, wondering.

Mia nodded. "They are huge. Besides their dads and mine they are the tallest guys in La Push." She bit down on her bottom lip and thought. Was that too much info? She shook her head then walked over to a huge white couch. "Pretty." she cooed before plopping down on it.
Mia patted the space next to her. "Sit." She twiddled with the fabric of the couch before asking the girl a few questions in a hushed tone. "What do you know about tall guys that live in La Push?"

Emily normally would be wary of listening to a stranger, but highly doubted that this girl would jump her. So she walked over and sat down, adoiding touching her shoes the the soft couch, she she wouldn't cause it to turn brown. Tucking some brown hair behind her ear, Em looked next to her at the girl that reminded her of something that seemed so distant now.
Emily shrugged, and lowered her voice to match the girl's. "Not much... I guess." Emily's curiosity would get her in trouble one of these days, but she was dying to find out if the girl's friends were werewolves. Just like her father. Sadly, the gene had skipped her, but left Emily with some wolfish traits. Like she was stronger than the average human, even though she did not work out, or had visible muscles, but she was no where near how strong they were.
Emily was dying to come right out and ask is she was related to werewolves, but there was always the possibility she wasn't, and knew she was ould be soo dead if she told someone who didn't know. So she figured a way to sort of ask. "They're dog people, right?"

Mia nodded furiously. "Yes, dog people. For sure." She looked around to see if anyone was eavesdropping. "Very dog orientated."
Mia noticed an employee making her way over to them. She raised her voice as she spoke. "This couch is too white. Let's move on to the next!" She quickly stood and strode away to a brown leather couch. "Beautiful! Come look."
Mia sat down and waited for the girl to come over. "By the way, I'm Mia. You are?"

Emily's eyes scrunched as the girl confused her, but then saw the employee coming and realization hit her. Standing, she turned to look at it. "Yes, much too white." She hurried over and sat next to the girl. "Nice to meet you Mia. I'm-"
The in introduction was cut off by a small beep, but it echoed around the store. Emily's eyes widened as the same employee looked at her irritated, and pulled out her phone. INBOX FULL. PLEASE DELETE. was displayed on the screen. She had received a new message from Zach. Nothing special. Putting it away, she focused back to the girl. "Sorry for that. I'm Emily."
Emily opened her mouth to ask, then closed it, realizing how big that would be, especially if the girl didn't know. But she couldn't bear it anymore. "Are they werewolves?" she asked, barely audible.

Mia watched with sparkling eyes as the now named girl took out her phone. She couldn't help but try to sneak a peek at what had made the phone beep. But unfortunatly she didn't see. "Yes." She simply said, then turned and ran a hand across the fabric of the couch.
"How do you know about the "dog people"?" She inquired, still examining the couch they were on. It was nice and comfortable, she might get her dad or uncle to buy some day. "I'm not a dog person myself, I'm more on the two legged side, unfortunately." She whispered to Emily then coughed.

Emily's tightly held chest relished in air as the girl confirmed it. Emily's worry that she had just let the secret out was replaced by a million questions. "My...dad.." she choked out, shifting uncomfortably.
"He was one." She nodded. Even though the couch was extremly comfy, she couldn't seem to stay in one spot after she brought up her father. "Me too. Just some increased thing's i've noticed. But no changing." She whispered back, her lips barely moving.

Mia shook her head. "My dad, my cousins, my uncles. I'm the only girl that's been born." Unlike Emily, Mia couldn't move. She seemed to be glued to her seat. "Was your dad Indian?" She asked, her brow quirking.
"I kind of wish I was like my dad and cousins. But I like it better this way. I can have kids." Mia giggled nervously. Then her expression grew solemn and she stared at Emily. "Can you have kids?" She whispered, more like mouthed the words.

"Kinda." She said, answering the first question. "He looked like it, but not extremly. And he wasn't one for much tradition." She replied, shrugging. If he had been, he wouldn't have left...
"Uhm... I guess I can have kids, I don't really know yet, don't plan on finding out soon..." Emily said, joking a little.

"If you don't mind me asking, what's your dad's name?" Mia questioned, she was curious. Her dad might know Emily's dad. They might even be related! What Mia wouldn't do to have another girl, who wasn't an imprintee, in the family.
"Well good thing." She blurted out, poking at Emily's stomach. "I wish there was a way to check." Mia dug her finger into Emily's abdomen then pulled it out aburtly. "Sorry." She laughed then leaned back on the couch. "Do you know ANYTHING about what you are?"
