Bella Swan was from Phoenix. True, she never fitted in there, with her pale skin and dark hair, but it was home. That was until she moved to Forks, Washington, to live with her father. Despite the constant rain and small population, Bella didn't realise how different her new life would be until she met the Cullens; Edward Cullen. The more time she spent with him, the more she realised something about him wasn't normal. And now she knows; knows what he is... A vampire.

It wouldn't be easy, she knew that, but it was as if she was obsessed with him. She thought about him all the time; dreamt about him every night. And now she knew the truth. She didn't know whether to laugh or cry. The fact terrified her but she just didn't want to give him up. There would be a load of desicions to make in the near future, and the choices Bella made would change her life; could even end her life... But for the time being she didn't care.

"How soon?" Carlisle said, turning toward Edward.
A look of intense concentration crossed his face.
