The curiosity had been killing James. After his stern warning to Mia about not going to Forks James felt slightly hypocritical. But curiosity killed the cat, not the shape shifting werewolf. He wanted to see if this Alex leech was still in town. He took his bike, a rather nice 2004 Ducanti motorcycle that his father had given him when he had phased for the first time. Jacob had been so proud it was unbelievable. He had 'shown' him off to all his friends and everyone in La Push had practically given him whatever he wanted, thinking that he would be an Alpha, just like Pop was. But, since Derek had phased first, he thought it better to let him take the position.
Arriving in Forks at about five o'clock, the rain had continued to sprinkle lightly on the town. Parking in front of a little diner, James stood beside the door under neath the awning and waited. For what, he didn't know. But he would smell her when, or if, she arrived. And he would be ready. But after about ten minutes he grew impatient and decided to walk towards a little gazebo in the town square.
The gazebo was small but it provided protection from the elements and he could see out from every angle as well. Once again, he crossed his right leg over his left leg, extended his arms across the banner and waited for something to happen.

Forks was being its usual self, being rainy and all. Renesmee didn't particularly like the rain, it wasn't that it could be cold, Renesmee's high body temperature handled that fine. The thing was the wet. The rain made your hair go crazy and your clothes stick to you, not to mention the hassle of a rain coat.
Unfortunately with all of the Cullen's wealth they rarely remembered to get good food. Renesmee didn't want vegetables and yogurt, not at all. She wanted the meaty foods like hamburgers and chicken. Well thats what you get when your the only one in the house that eats!
So here Renesmee was walking around Forks in her purple rain coat and rain splattered skinny jeans. Her black converse were damp with rain once she finally found a place that she deemed edible. Not wanting to eat in the place, the much more appealling scent of blood was overwhellming in the small well heated restaurant.
After taking a burger and fries to go Renesmee wandered out to a little gazebo, trying to find shelter from the rain. Not consentrating on anything in particular Renesmee wandered into the dry gazebo to recieve a shock. The shock of a person and a different smell, not vampire, but not human. Her family had told her that werewolves were usually the others, but they were supposed to reek. But this person didn't smell bad, just woodsie maybe. Well maybe its my wierd halfy-ness Renesmee wandered to herself.
"Umm," Renesmee said awkwardly to the huge guy, probably 10 inches taller than her mere five foot five inch height. "Do you mind if I eat here?" Renesmee asked carefully, if this was a werewolf her mother wouldn't be too happy.

James' mind was immediately awakened when his nostrils found a rather unique scent. It was a mixture of the sweet vampiric scents and that of a human. It puzzled the young werewolf, as he had never smelled something like her before. Perhaps she had been around vampires and had not known it? But they were all so beautiful, even the men, that the young mortal--if she truly was mortal--should have suspected something about them.
Trying hard to search for the person and not draw attention to himself, he finally got his chance when the girl came into the gazebo. Looking at her unique beauty he knew at once what he had done: he had imprinted on her. And yet, her scent was not like that of a human. It was sweet like a vampire's. Granted, James had never seen a vampire in person before, so he didn't know what to make of her. He simply knew that he loved her, with all of his being like he had never loved another person. And he didn't even know her name.
Her question brought James back into reality. He knew he would have to tell her of his imprinting, but she would probably have no idea what he was talking about and run away in terror, thinking him some crazed stalker. But he didn't care; he loved her, he cared for her. He wanted to be there everyday of his life for her.
Taking a deep breathe, James smiled at her. "Of course." he said simply, not really knowing where to begin. She was tall for a human girl. But everything else about her was perfect: her wavy hair, her pale skin. She was perfect. "I'm James Black. I haven't seen you around town, are you new here?" he asked, looking at her. Of course, even if she had lived here all of her young life he wouldn't have known about her, as he spent about nine-five percent of his time in La Push anyway.

"Thanks," Renesmee said smiling politely at the large guy. After sitting down Renesmee pulled out the burger and took a bite sadly. She wished she didn't have to eat normal food, it was such a bother. It didn't help that her entire family didn't have to eat either.
After a few bites Renesmee heard the guys name, James... James Black. Oh d**n it. Her mom told her about Jacob Black, and this guy had to be related to him and that would explain the woodsie scent she smelt around him. d**n it, d**n it! Well at least it wasn't actually Jacob, just his son, certainly James wouldn't know about her.
"Nice to meet you," Renesmee said sweetly, disguising her slight worry. "My name is Renesmee but you can call me Nessy," She continued, purposely leaving out her last name, "Yeah I'm relatively new around here. What about yourself?" Nessy asked curiously, trying to take the spot light off herself. "I haven't seen you around town either," Renesmee said and took another bite of her not so delicious meal.
