The color of the forest seemed to change the moment the sound reached the air. Not only was is beautiful and soothing, it was powerful. The sound waves created by the tunes could actually be seen rather then simply heard. The waves move through the forest, actually causing a slight breeze and movement in the leaves and branches.
The tune was none threatening. Nothing about it was harsh or fierce, but very much like a lullaby.
A man walking through the forest was the source of the beautiful and soothing tune. His eyes were closed as he walked through the forest at a relaxed pace. He was in no hurry and seemed to know the placement of every rock, tree, and blade of grass. His footing was graceful and balanced, allowing him to walk with no unsteadiness or uncertainty.
Every fiber of the man's being seemed to shine like a light. He didn't exactly emit a glow but...he was almost too good to be true. His shoulders were relaxed. No muscles were coiled or tight, expecting no threats or danger in his forest. He was the keeper of the forest but he was not a troll. He allowed people to roam it freely, as long as they did it no harm and left it as it had been when they entered it. He wasn't a violent creature, preferring to keep out of violence but never putting it out of his mind. If someone wished to harm his forest or home for no reason and showed little sign of stopping, he would put them out of his forest before they could cause his family any harm.
His body was slim, though well built. His hair was short, slightly-spiked, and black as the abyss. He wore no clothing other then a cloak, starting at his waist and dragging on the ground behind him. It was made of beautiful white slik, obviously not for any reason like warmth or protection. A belt criss-crossed his waist, holding the cloak to his slim hips. Hooked onto the belt was a nasty and dangerous scimitar, something that one might see in an Alladin movie. Although the man wasn't a violent creature, he was always with his weapon.....it was the only weapon that he normally carried on him.
He walked for what seemed like twenty minutes before he stopped at a massive...hole in the ground. It was surrounded by tall and healthy trees, providing good shade as the man sat down on the very edge and started to speak softly. There was no one with him but....this was his home and his voice seemed to show it's effect all around him...He kept the place around him alive....keeping it vibrant and healthy.
