After school, Tyler had phased into his wolf form and had run from La Push High to the local mall in Forks, as they had the better stores--and pretty much everything else--in Forks. Although, that wasn't really saying much as even Forks' stores were limited as well. He had decided to phase, one, because it was faster and easier and two, because he didn't own a car just yet. Though his father Seth had promised Tyler and his twin brother, Todd a car for their sixteenth birthday.
As Tyler reached the edge of the woods, he quickly phased back into his human form and put his clothes on: a pair of jeans and a hoodie. Even though it was freezing cold outside, Tyler didn't need much, as his body temperature was always over a hundred plus degrees. Finally dressed, he crossed the street and opened the door to the mall.
Opening the door, Tyler's nose was instantly turned to a sweet scent he had only recognized from the stories of his father and the elders in his pack: there was a vampire in Forks. More specifically, they were in the mall now.

Alice had a huge grin on her face as she danced out of the hall of Forks High and over to the thick wall of forest adjacent the school. She was going to the Forks mall today, it wasn't like it held any fantastic stores but the thought of shopping made her fill with joy. She skipped deeper into the forest until she could no longer see the school behind her, that's when she began running, running at a blurring pace.
Alice reached the mall in a matter of seconds, she darted at a human pace across the parking lot. Her smile never leaving her face. Once she finally reached the mall doors she flung them open and danced inside and over to her favorite store. As Alice exited the store, five full bags in hand, a smelled entered her nose. She immediately knew that there was a werewolf in the mall. His scent wasn't that strong so she knew he was still young, but never the less she was on her guard. She tensely walked over to the food court, the previous smile she wore now a hard line that spread across her face.

Still on his guard, Tyler walked determinedly through the mall, paying special attention to anyone who had pale skin and, very much like his canine brethren, he let his nose led the way until the scent was at its absolute strongest. He spotted someone who looked vaguely familiar; though he had only heard stories of the Cullens from his father and the pack elders, though he knew they were no longer around. They had left several years ago. Before he was even a thought in his parents minds.
However, as he walked to the food court, he stopped at the sight of a pixie-like, beautifully pale woman, probably only a few years older than himself and her sweet scent gave her away. He knew what she was and she would no doubt know who he was. Walking up to where she was, he stood still in front of the chair. "Hello." he said calmly and as friendly as possible. "Are you new here, friend?" he said, putting emphasis on the word 'friend'.

Alice sat down at a table and placed her bags next to her. She knew she was just getting settled back into Forks, but come on did she have to run into a mutt already?! She sat there silently and stared at the table in front of her. Suddenly a vision hit her, her eyes and face went blank of all expression.
In the vision Alice saw a man standing in front of her, talking. She couldn't see his face but something that he said made her tense even more. The vision ended and she shook her head, life coming back to her eyes.
It seemed that her vision was coming true sooner then she had expected. She held in a growl as the owner of the horrible smell was only a few feet away from her. "Friend?" she whispered the herself. Alice lifted her gaze from the table to the mutt. He was alright looking, tan and tall. She instantly knew who the boys father was. "So, friend, how is your father?" she said in a happy tone, though her own was forced it came out more natural then the little puppy's.

Tyler watched as the vampire tried to act friendly. He wasn't exactly thrilled to see her here, either, but the last thing he wanted was a fight. He'd leave that up to Quil or Jacob. Heck, Paul would be thrilled to see some vampires back in Forks. However, she hadn't done anything yet.
That was until she mentioned his father. Tyler sat down across from her, not bothering to ask if he could. It was one thing to bash him, but his father? His father had loved the Cullens. Heck, he stilled loved the Cullens. He had even been a witness to Renesmee when no one else in his pack had wanted to. The Cullens at least owed his father some respect.
Sitting back in his seat, he folded his arms and smiled, as if the two had been close friends who had not seen in other in a long, long time. "Dad's great. Happily married. How's your brother?" he said, this time his tone spiking slightly.

Alice smiled back at him as he sat down across from her. "Why don't you ask him yourself if you see him around town?" she said, slightly mad that he would ask about Edward. Who wanted to think about Edward? "I've been meanign to pay your dad a visit, see how he turned out. He was so excitable back when he was younger." She laughed remembering back to when she first met Seth.

"Perhaps I will. Seeing as how he just loves to break up friendships and whatnot." Tyler said coldly. However, when the vampire--he had just realized that he had no clue as to what her name was--mentioned paying a visit to his father, he snarled quietly. "Leave my father alone, leech! He's been nothing but loyal to your family! And what did you do to him? You practically killed his best friend!" he said hotly.
"Look, if Jacob sees you all are back, he'll go looking for Bella. She'll be his obsession again. Don't do it. He's moved on ... and so has everyone else." he said quietly as he looked down, intertwining his fingers together. Tyler sighed heavily before looking up to the vampire. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell. I don't even know your name, though I know you know mine." he said, almost sarcastically.

Alice was taken a back by the young puppy's tone. "Listen kid, I'm not going to hurt your father. Calm down!" she reassured. Alice shook her head, didn't Jacob have a kid. That boy, man, needed some help. Bella had chosen a long time ago and she was happy, so why was she being yelled at. "Well that's Jacob's fault. The time limit for us to be gone is up and we have a right to come back." she snapped. Alice was never one to snap at people but this mutt was saying they would mess up everything for everyone else and that got on her nerves. She paid the puppy's apology no mind and stood then grabbed her bags. "It's Alice." she murmured before sighed and walking off to another store. To tell the truth she didn't know his name, she knew nothing about him. Her vision hadn't allowed her to learn anything. She sighed as she entered the store, she wasn't about to let some stranger ruin her favorite thing in the world.

Tyler smacked himself mentally as he watched Alice get up and walk away. He was never like this. Normally he was sweet, prank-inducing, funny Tyler Clearwater. Stubborn, sure. But quick-tempered? No, that wasn't him at all. He replayed the conversation over and over again in his mind. She was right, of course. There time limit was up and they were free to come back to Forks. And, Jacob had his own son, James now. But he still couldn't stop to think what would happen if Isabella Cullen came walking clumsy down to La Push one day.
Sitting back further into his seat, he rested his head against the back of the chair and closed his eyes. He knew if his father found out that he had snapped at a Cullen he would never be allowed to see the light of day until he was in his seventies. Tyler got up slowly and sighed heavily as he tried to look for Alice. After a few minutes he spotted her, several bags in tow, coming out of a store.
"Here, let me help you with those." he said as he walked up to her and took a bag. "I'm sorry for how I reacted. It's just most of us kids have never seen your kind before. We've only heard stories about you from the elders." he told her, hoping his apology would be received.

Alice shopped in silence for a few minutes. She thought over the conversation, and grimaced. She grabbed a few dresses for Rose and Bella then paid. As she exited the store she was surprised to see that puppy following her. She handed him all of her bags and crossed her arms. "Well first off, respect your elders and second we're not all bad. Especially not me, I'm sure you've heard about me. Haven't you?" she inquired. Alice would be furious with Seth if he hadn't mentioned her, she thought she was his favorite. She huffed then brought her attention back to the puppy. "Another thing just because i can see the future doesn't mean I know your name. So what is it?"

[ooc: nothing for Nessie? Can't forget about your favorite niece! ] Tyler took the bags that Alice had handed him, feeling how surprisingly heavy they were. Vampire, human women. It made no difference, they all liked to shop apparently. As she crossed her arms, her posture said that he was still not out of the clear, though the air was no longer filled with hostility and Tyler's smile came back. It was big and crooked, and uneven. But it was friendly and kind, like his father's.
"My name's Tyler." he said, lifting his hand halfway up to shake hers, then remembering that she was a vampire and probably won't want to touch him. "Sorry, forgot for a minute there. My dad's told myself and Todd all about you guys. That's how I knew who you were, aside from your scent, of course. His memory of you guys is really quite remarkable."

Alice shook her head. "Tyler I can shake hands." she pointed out. She laughed at the mention of Seth's memory. "Well he was around us a lot. Basically everyday." Alice smiled to herself as memories flooded her mind, mostly ones of Seth. Just then she froze, her eyes and face losing all expression like before. It was another vision.
In the vision she saw Tyler, a man who she assumed was Seth by the goofy smile he was wearing and another boy that looked exactly the same as Tyler. She giggled happily as the vision ended a few moments later. "You have a twin! Oh, how cute." she chirped. "I would so love to see your father, if that's alright." Alice looked over at Tyler and awaited his response.

As Tyler reached out to shake Alice's hand he was surprised as to how cold it actually was. He knew it would be, but Alice had been the first vampire he had ever met. It was an odd feeling; talking and being friendly with "the enemy". Though Alice, as well as the rest of the Cullens, were not like other vampires and he knew it. As she joked about not touching him, he felt better. She was nice and he was hopeful that they could be friends, if not allies.
Suddenly, Alice stood still and had a glazed look in her eyes. He remembered from his father that she could predict the future. When she mentioned that he had a twin, Tyler chuckled. "Yeah, Todd. He's older than me by a few minutes. We're the first twin wolves La Push has ever seen." he said proudly. As Alice mentioned meeting his father sometime, Tyler quirked an eyebrow. His father would be thrilled to see everyone again, as would Tyler, but he wouldn't be too sure about how everyone else would react. "Yeah, Dad would love to see you guys again. Perhaps you guys could stop by this weekend or something?" he suggested.

((ooc: sorry it's so short))
Alice smiled at the thought of seeing twin wolves. She thought for a few seconds about what Tyler said. "I don't know about the rest of the family but I'm sure Nessie will come with me, for sure. Would that be okay?" She inquired then looked around the mall. Alice spotted a yellow sign across the mall. "Ooh! Sale!" Alice quickly flitted off across the store. "Come on Tyler!" She screamed over her shoulder as she entered the store.
