Alec smiled in return to her smile. She was a different girl, living on her own, going to school, taking care of her twin brothers who had now tackled her getting her all muddy. Alec chuckled at them, they couldn't have more perfect timing, the mud hid her scent somewhat giving a more earthy smell. It kept Alec's throat from burning to much making it bearable.
Alec got down to the twin's level before he spoke in a friendly, kind tone. "I'm Alec, I'm a friend of your sister." He said to the muddy little boys. He was generally close to the bench and before he spoke he went right up to the boys to talk to them. He just hoped they didn't reach out and touch his cold, stone-hard skin.

As Alec talked to the boys they stared at him intently. Their bright blue eyes, like their sister's, stared at him pondering every word he said. A few minutes after Alec finished speaking and they had finally comprehended what he said they both turned to Riley with big goofy one year old grins on their dimpled faces.
"Lee!" Olly said in his lisping one year old voice, "Youuu hab a friend?"
"Yeaaah!" Tony chorussed in after Olly nodding his head in intense agreement in Olly's curiosity.
"I sure do," Riley said, not feeling like explaining to the boys that they had only just met and then answering all the questions that would be bombarded on her after. Riley gave Alec a sheepish look and a quick smile then looked back at the boys. "Now boys tell Alec bye, we have to get you home and cleaned up!" Riley told the boys and the groaned and protested but shut up after an exasperated look at them and quickly said good bye and waddled over to the truck.
"I need to get the home and clean or else I won't sleep until midnight," Riley told Alec as she walked backwards to the truck. After unlocking the doors Riley swung open the doors and picked up Tony and began buckling him into his car seat and once she was finished and had Olly in her arms she turned to Alec and said, "I'll see you at school... right?"

Alec watched the boys, they were cute with there googleing eyes. It made Alec smile and chuckle a bit to himself, that was just one of the reasons he liked kids they made you laugh for the silly things they do. After they coprehenbded what Alec had said he couldn't help laughing again quietly and smiling looking at the boys and Riley. They were quite the family, they certainly all looked alike. Same hair color, same bright blue eyes. You could deffinatly tell how someone could mistake the twins for being her boys.
Alec returned Rileys sheepish look with one that was just smiling and he looked happy. All this brought some excitement to the day, and future days if he and Riley were friends now. "Its fine, I know how it is with twins, I used to have to take care of my twin cousins." Alec said. Alec got up and followed her at a normal human pace, maybe a tad faster, to her truck. He stopped a few feet from it. "Goodbye Riley, see you bright and early monday morning." Alec said before she got in the truck.

Once settled into the truck Riley stuck her head out the window to accept Alec's goodbye. It was wanderful knowing that she wouldn't be left to face the school completely alone. Turning the ignition Riley clutched the wheel and waved. "See you later!" She called and stomped the gas, driving cautiously out of the park.
THE END! [[dun dun dun]]
