Alice flitted around the house. She was extremely bored, no one was home at the moment. Bella and Edward were off doing who knows what, Rose and Emmett.... doing "things" at a hotel, Jasper and Carlisle were hunting, and Nessie and Esme were shopping. Alice, of course, would be shopping too, but she had been shopping only six hours before.
She groaned loudly, as she settled on the idea of jumping onto things. First she attacked the couch, gliding gracefully across the back. Then it was the railing for the staircase, she had fun with this. Sliding down it like humans did in movies. She had jumped on just about everything, except Edward's piano.
Alice paced lightly in front of it, her tiny pale hands caressing the keys. "I shouldn't, if Edward sees he will be so angry. But I just have to..." She growled at her dilemma and decided to be bad for once.
She giggled lightly as she leaped into the air and landed peacefully on the piano keys. She was careful to not break one. Alice danced across the keys, lightly playing a battle hymn she had heard Jasper sing once.
The sound of footsteps floated into her keen ears and she froze. In a split second Alice was off the piano keys and across the room, lounging on the couch. She flipped through the channels nervously. "Hello!" She chirped, hiding her uneasiness perfectly. Just in case the foot steps were Edward's she immediately began thinking about shoes. Pink shoes, puuuuurple shoes. Oh, red shoes, red shoes would look great on Nessie!

Edward opened the door and looked at Alice. Shoes was not somethinging he wanted to hear about and the thoughts of earlier were not well hidding but it was Alice and he couldnt help but smile at her. it would be best to just let let her think she hadn't been caught. It was funner that way.
"Alice." Edward said in a voice that impied she had been caught but he wasnt going to call her out. He smiled and rushed over to sit down next to her. "What have you been doing while Bella and I were out." Edward smiled, his crooked smile, as his head slowly turned to look at Alice. Edward knew she already knew she was caugh but it had been a while since they played any mind games with each other. He smiled and then looked at the door hoping that Bella would come in soon. |

d**n it! edward had magned to beat her again. why is he so bloody fast? she thought to herslef as she slowed down so she didn't go through a wall. it seemed alice had been up to something and edward of course knew what it was but was playing mind games with her. entering the room she saw her favourite smile on edwards face and alice sitting on the sofa flicking through the many channels on the huge television.
"she was playing the piano edward surely you heard that" she joined in with the mind games not quite sure what alice had been doing other than playing edwards piano.

Alice quickly changed her thoughts. Hmm, I wonder how hunting is going for Jasper? "I don't know what you two are talking about. I've been running around the house fixing things." She shot up and over to a random lamp. "See, I moved this lamp." She figured she had been caught but she wasn't gonna give herself away that easily.
Alice danced over to the piano, she gasped silently when she saw little foot prints lacing the keys. "That tune you're referring to was simply me dusting the keys. Oh dear, I seem to have missed a spot." She zipped into the kitchen and grabbed a towel then quickly wiped it across the keys.
"You two are acting so silly!" she chirped, a smile playing on her lips. "Well, I'm gonna go cook. Mhm. Yep." Alice sprinted off to the kitchen and immediately began making random Italian dishes. Though no one in the family ate besides Nessie. Nessie will be so hungry when she gets home. she thought, trying to keep her mind from picture her tiny figure dancing on the piano.

"I heard." Edward watched as his sister tried her hardest to cover her tracks. He let out a sigh and then looked at Bella, with the random urge to dance with her. He flashed his world famous crooked smile and then dashed to Bella. Gently taking her hands and picking her up just enough for her feet to rest on top of his. His smiled more as his mind began to play a soft melody. "Alice should learn to hide her thoughts better."
Edward danced into the kitchen with Bella and smiled. "Alice you have to know there are no secrets right?" He asked as he dipped Bella beside Alice. Edward softly kissed Bella's collar bone and then looked up at Alice. "You've been caught." He smiled and then brought Bella up and let her go as he smiled at her. |

she may have a 'speacil power' but not being able too see exactly what alice had been hiding from edward was bugging her. she guessed it had something to do with his piano but she couldn't figure out what. "whats she trying to hide?" she asked while alice was in the kitchen making ness food. true she did need to be reminded to eat but alice never cooked. ness or esme were usually the only ones who could handle that.

Alice sighed with defeat. "Do you forgive me?" She questioned, her face dropping into a really sad look. She brought her hands together and twiddled with her thumbs. "I was just.... BORED! And... and, you know why. You can read minds!" Alice threw her hands in the air and quit her attempt at cooking for Nessie.
"I danced on his piano. Well, not the whole piano, just the keys." She muttered softly to Bella. She was always out of the loop, it really didn't help that Bella didn't have mind powers.
Alice flitted out of the kitchen and over to the TV, within seconds her happy mood was back. "Oh, we should... fight or something." Oh no, Emmett was rubbing off on her. She danced over to Edward and punched her fists lightly on his shoulder. "I'm just so fidgety when there's no parties to plan."

Edward smiled. He won. He looked at Bella as Alice confessed her dirty deed to the two of them. It was always better to hear the confession out lout rather then in the mind, or at least thats the way he saw it. Edward draped his arms around Bella and smiled as he pulled her into his stone chest.
"Oh, then Bella hasn't told you." Edward already knew Alice was uninformed but making a big deal out of things was something he did naturally. "Bella has a half sister who will be moving in two days from now." Edward smiled at Alice and then placed a kiss on on the side of her neck. Edward thought for a moment thinking he might of left out a few imortant details, but those could come later. |

Alice's face dropped at the mention of Phoebe. "You didn't..." Her eyes darted from Edward to Bella. "Why?!" She began pacing, her hands placed firmly on her hips. How could they invite that girl to live here?
"Doesn't she have a house? What about Jasper? She's human!" Alice muttered hysterically. She knew that Jasper had gotten so much better at control, but it was still an issue. "She goes to Forks High, Edward! I've met her." She screeched in her high pitched voice.
She scoffed then flitted off into the living room. A loud boom soon followed. Alice stood next to Edward's piano, one of it's legs in her tiny hands. "You can't just invite people to LIVE here, and I'm not decorating her room." She grimaced at the thought of not decorating, but she was a bit mad. Why didn't those two talk to Carlisle or the family first. Plus it was such short notice. |

she laughed as alice told her what she had done "typical alice but no fighting" she loved alice and edward so much and she wouldn't allow them to fight. she hated fighting at the best of times. it was nice with edwards arms around her she felt safer than she had done in the past few days and the worry of her sister was faded until edward brought it up. "edward!" she hissed. that was not the way to tell alice.
"aw come on alice what am i supposed to do? shes my sister and had nobody else. i can't exactly leave her living in a rented house can i? and don't worry about jasper hes getting better shes not that appealing and i was around her when i needed to hunt" she had followed alice into the living room and it was then that she broke the piano leg. "alice are you insane!?"

Edward tried to stay calm for Bella's sake. He sighed and then walked casually into the living room to see his precious piano limp-sided on the floor. Edward glared at Alice. "You are over reacting." Edward said as he looked at Bella. He really wished Bella would of stayed in the kitchen she he could act out the way he felt.
"Alice i have talked to Carlisle, Esme is fine with it as well. Everyone else has not been around for me to talk to them as well." Edward glanced at Bella and then with in seconds his hand was on Alice's shoulder and she was pined against his piano as he glared. "You are over reacting, Alice. Besides, Jasper is doing fine and Bella is right shes not that appealing." Edward snatched the leg of the piano from Alice and then pushed her gently out of the way. He quickly replaced the leg and turned to Alice.
"She is living with a man that is..." Edward trailed off as he closed his eyes and looked to the side, his face showing a bit of pain. "...Alice, Bella is all she has left." Edward had a feeling he was being to emotional over Phoebe but he couldn't help it. There was so much Bella in her he just could stand to see her being hurt. |

Alice nodded when Bella asked if she was insane. She was overreacting, but she didn't like the idea of acting human 24/7. Frankly it made her angry, she loved humans and all but it was such a relief to come home and flit about.
"Well you should have talked to EVERYONE first." Alice didn't struggle when Edward pinned her to against the piano. It was his baby after all. Alice placed her hands on her hips as soon as she was pushed out of the way. "I can't believe you two, with all the money we have you couldn't have just brought her a house of her own?"
Alice huffed, then lightly kicked Edward. She didn't realize what she had done until a few seconds had passed. The corners of her mouth turned up and she flitted a few feet away from her brother. |

Edward's eye narrowed quikly as he look at Alice. She was being unreasonable. Edward did not like showing his dominace in anyway towards his family but Alice was just screaming it.
Edward flew at Alice befor she could get to far from him. His right hand went behind her neck and he moved his foot sweeping her feet. Edward laid Alice on the ground and stared at her with a strong sturn face. "ALICE!" He growled as his knees rested next to her on the floor. "I was not planing on telling anyone." Edward paused awkordly and then continued not bothering to say what he was origanly planing to say. "She will find out on her own about us!" Edward growled louder at Alice and then pushed her into the ground as he stood up. |

Alice struggled under Edward grip, She reached up and snapped at him. "What were you gonna do hide her or something?" She lept to her feet after Edward finally moved. "What were you gonna say Edward?" She said through gritted teeth.
Alice then lunged at Edward, pinning him this time against a wall. Her hands were placing firmly on his shoulders. "What were you gonna say Edward?" she growled. Alice was getting tired of this, but she wanted to know. "What's gonna happen if she wakes up in the middle of the night and we're all up playing... scrabble? Did you think of that?"
Alice stomped away from Edward and over to the couch. "What if one of us gets hungry? What if we want to go hunt and she decides to come along?" She lifted the couch up with one hand. She was overreacting still but it had seemed that Bella and Edward had not totally thought their decision through. "What if she attracts other vampires like Bella, no offense Bella." Alice gently set the couch down and zipped over to Bella. "Did you really think this choice all the way through?" Her eyes went to Edward then back to Bella. |

Edward growled louder then his usual growl. He watched Alice as she picked the couch up and gently place it down. He did not expect this from Alice of all the ones to over react. Edward sighed trying to calm him self down, then Alice zipped over to Bella. Edward lost it. No one targets Bella for anything.
"MARY ALICE CULLEN, Dont you dare put this on her!!" he roared as he pulled Bella behind him self. He took a step toward Alice his eyes lost in his anger. Edward had never been this mad, at Alice, ever. He glared harder at Alice. Even though Bella did deside to get to know Phoebe, it was Edward that desided to have her move in, not Bella. Bella was totally in the dark about Edward's plans. "Alice you have no room to blame Bella, you should of seen this coming and you chose to ignore it." Edward qontinued to avoid the fact that he left out one detail, but considering what it was Alice would more then likely flip out more if she heared it. |
